Los Angeles, CA (February 11, 2024) – The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in their investigation into a hit-and-run that resulted in a man’s death on Friday evening.
A dark-colored SUV traveling eastbound on Washington Place hit a man crossing the street at around 8:10 p.m. on Friday. The SUV came to a brief stop before fleeing the scene without offering the required identification or assistance. Although personnel from the Culver City Fire Department arrived promptly and administered immediate medical care, the victim was pronounced dead due to his injuries. Witnesses with information are encouraged to contact the Detective Section of the West Traffic Division.
