Los Angeles, CA (September 13, 2023) – On Saturday, a collision on westbound California State Route 94 at College Avenue in Lemon Grove resulted in the ejection of two children from a vehicle.
Authorities said the children’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at roughly 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. A 33-year-old woman, a 10-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy were all riding in a Toyota Camry. Troopers say the driver collided with a Dodge Challenger shortly thereafter, though the events preceding the crash are not known.
The Camry rolled over, and the two children were ejected from the vehicle. Both the woman in the Camry and the Challenger’s driver, a woman in her forties, required medical attention. No further details on the current conditions of the victims have been provided.
The investigation into the cause of the wreck remains active in the meantime.
