Los Angeles, CA (December 18, 2023) – A driver and four passengers were among those hurt on Saturday when a Metro bus in the Westlake neighborhood careened backward into a retaining wall.
According to Margaret Stewart, the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Public Information Officer, teams were sent to 270 South Loma Drive at around 3:40 p.m. after the incident was reported. Per fire officials, the driver and four passengers all suffered unknown injuries and were sent to the hospital. The LAFD assessed the other passengers at the scene. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department are still investigating but asked witnesses to get in touch.
