Los Angeles, CA (January 7, 2024) – On Saturday evening, January 6, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a fatal collision involving at least two motorists. Just before 9:30 p.m., officers from the LAPD fielded reports of a multi-vehicle accident near 60th Street and Broadway.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered one victim trapped in their car. The victim was extricated, and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the person was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. It’s unclear if any other injuries took place, though officers continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision. Witnesses were asked to call LAPD’s South Traffic Division with additional information.
