Los Angeles, CA (October 23, 2023) – On Tuesday, investigators in Monterey Park were looking into what led up to a fatal crash between a box truck and a gray Toyota Camry on the Pomona (60) Freeway.
At 11:25 p.m. on Monday, CHP officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Atlantic Boulevard and the westbound highway, where they located two damaged vehicles blocking several lanes of the expressway.
At the site, one victim’s death was officially confirmed.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked by broken glass after the collision. An investigation is still ongoing in the interim.
