Los Angeles, CA (October 10, 2023) – On Tuesday, further details in connection with a crash involving a pedestrian, who was killed after being hit by a vehicle in South Los Angeles, were released.
A desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center reported the fatality at 9:10 p.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Main Street and Vernon Avenue.
The 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver of the automobile stayed at the site after the man was declared dead, though it’s unclear if citations or charges are pending.
An investigation remains active and ongoing in the interim.
