San Diego, CA (August 24, 2024) – California Highway Patrol (CHP) troopers stated that a collision on Fairmount Avenue in Kensington resulted in serious injuries on Friday evening, August 23.
According to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), the incident was reported at about 11:25 p.m., and around that time, officers say a 53-year-old man driving a 2008 Lincoln Town Car and a 24-year-old woman driving closely behind in a 2005 Acura collided in an apparent rear-end accident. Both suffered moderate to serious injuries, and both victims remain hospitalized in unknown condition. However, an investigation is ongoing in the interim, and witnesses were asked to contact the CHP or SDPD right away. We hope the injured victims recover swiftly.
