Bakersfield, CA (October 6, 2023) – The cause of a fire to an apartment on East 6th Street near Union Avenue Friday night is under investigation.
The Bakersfield Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment in southeast Bakersfield just after 9:00 p.m. Fire officials, and Bakersfield police responded to the blaze a short time later.
It is unclear how many people were injured in the blaze, and the cause of the fire is unknown. However, the incident is under investigation.
