Common Causes of Fire Incidents in California

Residential fires in California often start from unattended cooking or heating equipment. Electrical problems, including faulty wiring, also contribute to many apartment fires. Dry conditions and older buildings can increase overall fire risk.

Fire-related injuries may include burns and smoke inhalation. Older adults can face higher risks due to limited mobility. Even small fires may lead to breathing issues or extended hospital stays.
