Hermosa Beach, CA (January 13, 2026) – A man in his 50s was seriously injured on Monday night, January 12, after a crash on Pacific Coast Highway near the 1800 block. The incident occurred around 7 p.m., and Hermosa Beach police responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from serious injuries. Emergency crews immediately took him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in serious condition. Police later determined that the crash happened when a driver swerved into the center lane to avoid stopped traffic, striking the e-bike rider.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Authorities are still reviewing the circumstances of the crash.
