Fullerton, CA (June 14, 2024) – Just after midnight on Wednesday, June 13, a Fullerton Police Department officer was managing traffic at the intersection of West Orangethorpe Avenue and Courtney Avenue following a deadly traffic accident earlier in the evening when he was hit by a third. vehicle.
Per officials, the police vehicle had its emergency lights on, and several flares were placed on the road when a blue Tesla crashed into the police vehicle, which was blocking traffic. One person was pronounced dead as a result of the initial crash, while two people were hospitalized, including the officer, in the second collision.
