Oceanside, CA (April 28, 2026) – A man died Sunday morning, April 26, after authorities found him lying along westbound State Route 76 in Oceanside. Emergency units responded around 11 a.m. after a caller reported someone on the side of the road.

Officers arrived and found the man unresponsive. They began CPR immediately, but emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene at 11:05 a.m.
