Camarillo, CA (March 26, 2026) – Two motorists lost their lives after a violent crash on Wednesday afternoon, March 25, along a rural roadway in Ventura County.
Emergency units responded shortly before 1:30 p.m. to a collision near Las Posas Road and Laguna Road in Camarillo. Authorities arrived and found a white Ford Expedition and an orange Porsche coupe involved in the accident.
Investigators said the two vehicles collided along the roadway under circumstances that remain unclear. The impact caused severe damage and trapped both drivers inside the wreckage.
First responders worked to remove the drivers from the damaged vehicles. Medical personnel transported the driver of the Ford Expedition to Los Robles Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Despite emergency treatment, hospital staff later pronounced the driver dead. Responders also attempted life-saving measures for the Porsche driver, but he died at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
