Lake Elsinore, CA (March 17, 2026) – One person died and two others suffered critical injuries after a three-car crash on Sunday, March 15, in Lake Elsinore. Emergency units responded around 9:30 p.m. to the area of Highway 74 and Trellis Lane after reports of a serious traffic accident.
Deputies arrived and located three damaged vehicles involved in what officials described as a major injury collision. All three drivers suffered serious injuries at the scene, and paramedics rushed them to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Hospital staff treated the victims for critical injuries following the crash. Authorities later confirmed that one of the drivers died from those injuries after arriving at the hospital. Officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
