Pt Loma, CA – Man Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Accident on W Pt Loma Blvd

Point Loma, CA (July 23, 2025) – A man was seriously injured Tuesday following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car in the Point Loma Heights neighborhood, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred mid-block in the 4400 block of West Point Loma Boulevard, where a 28-year-old woman driving a 2018 Honda Civic was pulling out of a private driveway. The woman attempted to make a left turn and entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcycle, a 2002 Harley-Davidson driven by a 53-year-old man traveling eastbound, struck the vehicle at that time, police said. The impact caused the rider to sustain multiple injuries, including fractures to his pelvis and an open fracture to his left arm. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released.

SDPD’s Traffic Division responded to the scene and is handling the investigation. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact the department or call Crime Stoppers.
