Los Angeles, CA (March 31, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck by two vehicles and killed early Monday morning, March 31, on the 5 Freeway near Anaheim.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) at 2:00 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway, just north of Lincoln Avenue. A witness reported that a truck hit the pedestrian in the middle lane, the CHP said. The CHP later learned a Honda Civic also hit the pedestrian. All lanes were reopened about 7:00 a.m., but traffic was backed up to Valley View Avenue, according to the CHP. Meanwhile, an investigation continues at this time.
