San Diego, CA (April 1, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash involving a DUI suspect happened on Tuesday afternoon, April 1, on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway near Scripps Parkway in San Diego.
The collision involved a white Mercedes and a dark blue sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol, and occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m.
Initial reports indicated the collision involved a traffic hazard in the slow lanes. The incident led to the blockage of five lanes, causing traffic to back up, and emergency responders arrived on the scene shortly thereafter. It’s unclear how many people were hurt, however.
No further details were released in the meantime, and the condition of the injured individuals is still undisclosed. That said, witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible. We wish those hurt in this crash a rapid recovery.
