Torrance, CA (January 17, 2025) – The identity of the 33-year-old motorcyclist who died in a collision with a car in Torrance was made public by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office on January 16. The examiner’s office identified the deceased as Harbor City resident Keith Cody Bagwell.
The Torrance Police Department reports that, at around 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the junction of Crenshaw Boulevard and 236th Street for an accident involving a 1992 Honda motorcycle and a 2019 Jaguar. The Jaguar was traveling south on Crenshaw Boulevard when it turned left onto 236th Street, colliding with a Honda motorcycle traveling north on the same street.
Despite life-saving measures attempted, Keith Cody Bagwell was pronounced dead at the site. According to authorities, the 78-year-old Torrance man driving the Jaguar was unharmed. The Torrance Police Department Traffic Division is still investigating, however, and requested anyone with more information on the case to contact them.
