Santa Monica, CA (October 13, 2025) – A patrol cruiser hit a pickup truck at the intersection of Main Street and Pico Boulevard on Friday night, October 10, injuring two Santa Monica police officers.
Authorities said the crash happened around 9:14 p.m. when the police vehicle collided with a civilian truck. Emergency crews arrived within minutes to assist the injured. Paramedics transported both officers and the truck’s driver to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials have not released details about their injuries.
Police temporarily closed the intersection to investigate the cause of the collision and to clear the wreckage. The Santa Monica Police Department continues to investigate the incident to determine what led to the crash
