San Diego, CA (August 3, 2024) – A head-on crash took place in the Sorrento Valley neighborhood of San Diego early on Friday, August 2, officials said, leaving at least two victims injured.
Two people were seriously hurt in the wreck involving a Toyota 4Runner SUV and a 2020 Toyota Model 86 sedan in the 6100 block of Carroll Road at around 1:30 p.m., near the intersection with Pacific Heights Boulevard, officials confirmed. Authorities added that one of the victims was the driver of one of the cars, and the other was one passenger among five people riding in the SUV. All of those involved in the crash were hospitalized. An investigation is ongoing in the interim. We hope those injured in this crash make a timely recovery.
