San Diego, CA – Two Injured in Hit-and-Run at Bayard St & Grand Ave

San Diego, CA (June 3, 2024) – On June 2, a suspected drunk driver allegedly ran a red light, striking a 30-year-old woman and another pedestrian in San Diego. According to official records, the collision occurred at the intersection of Bayard Street and Grand Avenue at approximately 2:00 a.m.

Both victims suffered life-threatening injuries, including a cranium fracture and numerous fractured bones, according to San Diego Police Department officers. The 28-year-old driver was apprehended on suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence.  However, the investigation into the accident is still underway.
