Los Angeles, CA (May 18, 2024) – Four people were hurt after a crash caused a car to go airborne and hit a building’s second story in Vernon on Friday morning.
The collision occurred in the vicinity of South Downey Road and Leonis Boulevard on Friday at about 2:30 a.m. One of the drivers involved, who was operating a Jeep, lost control after the collision and eventually crashed into the structure, according to Los Angeles County Fire. Three passengers were rescued by firefighters, and all were hospitalized, along with the driver. Officers have also not disclosed what may have led to the crash, but an investigation is still ongoing in the interim. Witnesses were asked to come forward right away.
