San Diego, CA (October 21, 2024) – On October 19, a 20-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries during a crash with a vehicle in the Ocean Beach community of San Diego, authorities said. The San Diego Police Department reported that the crash occurred at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Del Monte Avenue and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
The motorcyclist, riding a Harley-Davidson, was going north in the southbound lanes on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. A Honda CRV stopped at the stop sign on Del Monte Avenue at Sunset Boulevard, then proceeded eastbound. The motorcyclist suffered a broken left femur, a dislocated right elbow, and multiple lacerations. However, no further details were released as an investigation is ongoing, and witnesses were asked to get in touch with area authorities if they had additional information in the interim.
