San Diego, CA (December 6, 2024) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a jogger killed in a hit-and-run crash in Ocean Beach Thursday morning has been identified.
Michael Casey Ellis, 30, was announced as the deceased, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. The crash occurred just before 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of Nimitz Boulevard and West Point Loma Boulevard. That said, no further details were released, and authorities urged anyone with information regarding the accident to call the CHP as the investigation continues in the interim.
