San Diego, CA (November 21, 2024) – A San Diego Police sergeant saved a driver from a car that crashed and burst into flames on a Logan Heights street early Thursday morning, November 21.
SDPD officials said the collision happened at around 1:40 a.m. in the 3100 block of Ocean View Boulevard, near South 31st Street. According to SDPD officials, following a three-vehicle collision, a man’s Malibu drove onto the sidewalk, slammed into an electrical box, and then caught fire. At least one person was ultimately hospitalized. However, no further details were released in the meantime, and it’s unclear how many were ultimately injured in the crash. Witnesses were asked to step forward as soon as possible.
