San Diego, CA (September 22, 2025) – A deadly collision involving multiple vehicles took place on Saturday afternoon, September 20, on the Interstate 15 Express Lanes near the Cabrillo Freeway merger.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. and involved a white Ford Mustang, a black BMW, and a motorcycle. One person died at the scene. Officials have not confirmed whether the victim was the motorcyclist or another driver.
Investigators are still reviewing the events that led to the crash.
