Newport Beach, CA (October 2, 2023) – On Monday, police in Newport Beach were looking for eyewitnesses to a deadly weekend accident.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, a two-car collision near the junction of MacArthur Boulevard and Bowspirit Drive claimed the life of one motorist and seriously injured another on Saturday.
Multiple calls were made to police on Saturday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., reporting the accident. The accident victim’s identity has not been released, awaiting positive identification by the Coroner Division of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
