Manhattan Beach, CA (May 4, 2025) – A person was killed early Sunday morning, May 3, after they were hit by a driver who may have been under the influence in Manhattan Beach.
The collision took place at about 12:45 a.m. in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Duncan Place. Upon arrival, officers found a victim lying on the roadway next to a vehicle. That person was transported to a local trauma center, where they later died. As of Sunday morning, they’re yet to be identified.
The driver was taken into custody, though their identity has not been revealed. No further information was available, but an investigation continues at this time.
