Malibu, CA (February 5, 2025) – A portion of Kanan Dume Road was shut down Wednesday morning, February 5, due to a crash and possible injuries.
Kanan Dume Road was closed in both directions between Cavalleri Road and Mulholland Highway due to a traffic collision that resulted in downed power lines at around 10:00 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. EMTs responded shortly thereafter, but it’s unknown how many people were hurt. That said, local law enforcement is investigating to determine the cause of the accident, and no further details have yet been released.
