Los Angeles, CA (July 30, 2024) – A 48-year-old woman was killed on Monday, July 29, when she was struck by a vehicle whose driver left the scene in the Florence area of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at around 1:10 a.m. at 219 West Gage Avenue, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Operations Center. The officer said the vehicle was westbound on Gage Avenue when it struck the woman who was in the roadway. The driver failed to stop and render assistance, he added.
No additional details were immediately made available, but anyone with information regarding the collision was asked to contact LAPD Collision Investigation Detail Detectives.
