Los Angeles, CA (June 13, 2025) – Around 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, first responders received reports of a crash involving a skateboarder in the 23500 block of Lyons Avenue in Newhall, according to officials.
The skateboarder was pronounced dead on arrival, Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed. The person killed was identified as a 16-year-old boy from Newhall, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. No other details about the crash were made available.
