Los Angeles, CA (June 16, 2025) – A fatal car accident happened early Monday morning on the northbound 405 Freeway just south of Getty Center Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on June 16 and involved at least two vehicles, the report said. Initial reports indicated that one vehicle was positioned on the right shoulder facing westbound, while another was disabled in the HOV lane.
By 3:45 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department personnel had arrived with an ambulance, and a request was made for the county coroner to respond, confirming that the collision had resulted in at least one fatality.
