Lakeside, CA (April 9, 2025) – A 57-year-old man was killed in a vehicle crash in Lakeside on Wednesday, per local authorities.
The incident took place on the westbound side of El Monte Road, east of Lake Jennings Park Road, shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. One person, whose name, age, and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in one of the vehicles was also hospitalized. However, no further details were released, and an investigation remains ongoing.
