Los Angeles, CA (February 1, 2024) – According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters were sent to the 500 block of West 87th Street at 7:00 a.m. and extinguished a blaze at a local residence on Thursday, February 1.
Crews on the scene discovered thick smoke and flames emanating from the windows of the upper floors. At least one individual had to be rescued, and a handful of victims were assessed for injuries, though it’s unclear how many people were hospitalized. At this time, the fire’s cause is being investigated.
