Los Angeles, CA (October 17, 2023) – After a crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu that claimed the lives of four women and put two others in the hospital, a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
On Tuesday night, around 8:30 p.m., authorities claimed the suspect lost control of his BMW and drove into several parked vehicles, with debris from the collisions ultimately hitting and killing the victims who were standing on the side of the road.
The accident occurred on a section of roadway known as “Dead Man’s Curve,” and investigators suspect speed had a role in the crash. The identities of the victims remain unknown.
As a result of the ongoing inquiry, PCH was kept blocked between Carbon Canyon and Las Flores Canyon roads.
