Los Angeles, CA (October 20, 2023) – On Friday, police began looking into what led up to the death of a pedestrian on the Pomona (60) Freeway west of East Los Angeles.
It was 11:20 p.m. when word of the crash came in. CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig said that police responded to a report of a person down on the westbound 60 near Indiana Street on Thursday.
Multiple vehicles reportedly collided with the victim on the expressway. EMTs say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP sent out a SigAlert that caused the closure of numerous lanes of roadway for several hours. An investigation is ongoing at this time.
