Long Beach, CA (February 6, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered injuries after a vehicle struck them at a Long Beach intersection on Thursday, February 5. The injury accident occurred at Martin Luther King Junior Avenue and East New York Street in a busy area of the city.

Emergency units responded at approximately 6:11 p.m., after reports of a traffic crash involving a pedestrian. Responders arrived and found that a vehicle had hit a person in the roadway. Police remained on scene to manage the situation and assist with the response.
