Fontana, CA (August 7, 2025) – Police officers in Fontana are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a teenager on her way to school on Wednesday, August 6.
The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. near Cherry Avenue and Walnut Street, just blocks away from Etiwanda High School, where the 17-year-old victim attended. Police said the student was on her way to school when she was struck by the car. The teen was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
