Cajon Pass, CA (April 6, 2026) – A motorcycle crash on Sunday, April 5, claimed the life of a rider along State Route 138 near the Interstate 15 interchange. Authorities received reports of the collision around 5:21 p.m. and responded to the scene shortly after.
Officials said the motorcycle collided with a blue sedan and a gold Chrysler minivan. The rider was found beyond the right-hand side railing and showed no signs of breathing at the scene.
Emergency crews worked to assess the situation, and authorities later requested assistance from the county coroner. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not released the victim’s identity.
Investigators noted that the driver of the minivan left the scene following the crash. Crews closed both directions of SR-138 for several hours while they documented evidence and cleared the roadway.
