Anaheim, CA (February 26, 2024) – A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle and killed early Monday morning, February 26, on an on-ramp to the Orange Freeway/57 Freeway in Anaheim.
The California Highway Patrol received a report of the collision at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, and troopers were dispatched to the Lincoln Avenue on-ramp leading to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway. According to information provided to the CHP by a witness, a black Nissan Sentra was located on the right median, and a pedestrian was discovered lying in the roadway, unconscious. The victim was later pronounced dead, though no further details were provided in the interim.
