Westmorland, CA (May 15, 2026) – A tractor-trailer rear-ended a Ford Edge on northbound Highway 86 north of Andre Road near Westmorland on Wednesday, May 13, killing the driver and seriously injuring his passenger. The crash happened at approximately 5:13 a.m. in the No. 2 lane.
The 27-year-old male driver died at the scene. His 35-year-old female passenger suffered major injuries. The Peterbilt driver survived.
