North Hollywood, CA (May 6, 2026) – A pedestrian died after a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday, May 6, near Magnolia Boulevard and the southbound Hollywood Freeway off-ramp. The crash happened around 1:50 a.m.

Authorities said a vehicle struck the pedestrian and then left the scene. Emergency units arrived shortly after and found the victim with severe injuries. Firefighters confirmed the pedestrian died at the scene.

Investigators have not released details about the driver or the vehicle involved. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
