Los Angeles, CA (March 4, 2026) – A 39-year-old pedestrian suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Monday night, March 1, near Sepulveda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street in the North Hills area of Los Angeles.
Police reported that the accident occurred just before 8 p.m. Detectives said an older, dark-colored Toyota Camry traveled east on Nordhoff Street and entered the intersection. The vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was walking inside a marked crosswalk at the time.
The driver fled the scene. Emergency crews responded and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. Doctors listed the victim in critical condition. Authorities have not released the victim’s name.
