Jurupa Valley, CA – Four Vehicles Involved in Collision on CA-60 Fwy near Rubidoux Blvd

Jurupa Valley, CA (December 31, 2025) – A four-vehicle crash disrupted traffic for hours on Tuesday morning, December 30, on the Pomona Freeway in Jurupa Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 8:29 a.m. on the westbound 60 Freeway just east of Rubidoux Boulevard. CHP officials said a tow truck attempted an emergency stop in the slow lane to recover a disabled vehicle. During the maneuver, the tow truck struck a tractor-trailer.

The impact caused a nearby Subaru sport utility vehicle and a Honda Civic to collide alongside the tow truck. Debris was scattered across all westbound lanes. The tow truck, which carried two vehicles, became lodged underneath the semi-truck. The tow truck driver exited the vehicle without assistance.

Several people involved reported minor injuries. CHP also reported that debris struck additional vehicles, causing property damage but no reported injuries. Investigators continue reviewing the incident.

We wish those injured a full recovery.
