Ramona, CA (November 26, 2025) – A head-on crash on San Vicente Road injured a 75-year-old Ramona man late Tuesday morning, November 25.
Investigators said he drove a 2006 Club Car golf cart west in the eastbound lane around 11 a.m. A 2004 Toyota Tundra approached near Camino Arriba in that same lane. The vehicles collided head-on on a straight stretch with a center divider.
The impact threw the man from the golf cart onto the roadway. Paramedics rushed him to Palomar Hospital with major injuries. The pickup driver was not hurt.
The CHP said drugs and alcohol did not play a role, and officers continue to review the crash.
We wish the injured man a full and speedy recovery.
Head-On Crashes in California
Head-on crashes cause severe harm because both vehicles are hit with a combined force. Wrong-way driving, confusion near turn lanes, and low visibility can lead to these wrecks, even on divided roads.
Victims may face surgery, therapy, and time away from work. A personal injury lawyer can gather evidence, deal with insurers, and seek full compensation.
