How Can a Police Report Help My Injury Claim?

A police report is one of the most valuable pieces of documentation you can have after a crash. It records the basic facts of what happened and can help establish liability when filing a personal injury claim. Key details include location, time, vehicles involved, and any citations issued.

A car accident lawyer can help you obtain and interpret a police report, and explain how the details it contains may support your case when negotiating with an insurance company or pursuing compensation in court.
