San Diego, CA (October 4, 2024) – Officers with the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) are investigating after a woman was hit by a vehicle in the Midway District on Friday morning, October 4.
According to the SDPD, the incident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. when a 65-year-old man driving a white Ford F-250 pickup truck struck a female pedestrian in the 3800 block of Camino Del Rio West. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where medical staff confirmed her injuries to be serious but non-life-threatening. Her identity has not been released at this time.
Authorities report that the driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation, which is being conducted by Traffic Division officers.
