San Diego, CA (August 8, 2025) – A 20-year-old woman is not expected to survive after a serious motorcycle crash in La Jolla early Friday morning, August 8, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The collision occurred on the 2000 block of Torrey Pines Road. Police say the crash ejected the rider from the motorcycle, causing multiple life-threatening injuries. It’s unclear if anybody else was hurt in the collision or how many other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Authorities confirmed that she remains in critical condition and is not expected to survive. The SDPD’s Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the collision. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information about the incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers.
