San Diego, CA (February 4, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck on Tuesday, February 4, in a crosswalk in the Midway District.
The crash occurred around 7:50 a.m. in the 3500 block of Sports Arena Boulevard, the San Diego Police Department said in a news release. Authorities say an unknown white four-door sedan was traveling westbound in the aforementioned location when the 53-year-old pedestrian was hit by the vehicle while crossing the crosswalk from the south to the north. That said, an inquiry into the cause of the collision is still ongoing, and witnesses were asked to step forward. We hope for the full and rapid recovery of the injured individual.
