San Diego, CA (November 10, 2024) – A motorcyclist and passenger were injured on November 10 after being struck by another vehicle in Pacific Beach, authorities said. The accident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. Sunday at 2700 Garnet Avenue, near the intersection of Mission Bay Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 39-year-old man who was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson Dyna and his 40-year-old female passenger were traveling westbound when a 70-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2013 BMW M3 traveling eastbound made a left turn and struck the motorcycle, the department reported.
Police said both occupants of the motorcycle were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for injuries. However, no further details were released, and witnesses were asked to get in touch with area authorities if they had additional information in the interim.
